What an amazing Parent & Child Cooking Day! 👩🍳👨🍳
It was truly filled with smiles, laughter, and hands-on fun. The children explored a variety of cooking stations — pancakes, pizza, and fresh mixed juice — freely choosing what they wanted to make and enjoy. Mochi Pounding Event
We held a special Mochi Pounding (Mochitsuki) Event and invited parent volunteers to join us. With their support, the children had the opportunity to experience traditional mochi pounding firsthand. The children enjoyed watching the rice being pounded and even had a chance to participate themselves. It was a wonderful hands-on cultural experience for everyone. Celebrating the New Year with Kakizome
To celebrate the beginning of 2026, we held a traditional Kakizome (New Year’s calligraphy) activity. In honor of the Year of the Horse, the children practiced writing the Hiragana character “うま” (horse) and created framed artwork featuring their calligraphy.
