We are excited to share our 2026 Summer School Program with you! Following a wonderful and successful first year, we are thrilled to be offering our Summer School again this year, and we look forward to welcoming both new and returning families. This year, we have prepared even more fun, engaging, and meaningful activities foryour children to enjoy! Summer School Program 2026 (Ages 2–5) Program Dates: June 22 – August 7, 2026 Summer School Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Mon– Fri

It was truly filled with smiles, laughter, and hands-on fun. The children explored a variety of cooking stations — pancakes, pizza, and fresh mixed juice — freely choosing what they wanted to make and enjoy. Thank you to all the families who joined and supported us. It was truly a special and memorable day for everyone!

We held a special Mochi Pounding (Mochitsuki) Event and invited parent volunteers to join us. With their support, the children had the opportunity to experience traditional mochi pounding firsthand. The children enjoyed watching the rice being pounded and even had a chance to participate themselves. It was a wonderful hands-on cultural experience for everyone. To celebrate the beginning of 2026, we held a traditional Kakizome (New Year’s calligraphy) activity. In honor of the Year of the Horse, the children practiced writing the Hiragana character “うま” (horse) and created framed artwork featuring their calligraphy.

We held our very first Holiday Party since opening the school 🎄✨ The children performed songs and dances, and afterward everyone enjoyed a potluck meal together with their families. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children and their families to connect and spend time with one another!

We had a wonderful time at our 753 fundraising event. The children were thrilled to wear traditional Japanese kimono, many for the very first time. We had special guests who helped with kimono dressing and photography, making the day even more memorable. Shichi-Go-San (753) is a traditional Japanese celebration that honors children’s healthy growth and happiness. It was extraordinary to share this meaningful cultural experience with our families.

Terasaki Japanese Immersion Preschool hosted its very first school event—a Halloween Parade. We sincerely appreciate the support and participation of our families.
