Mochi Pounding Event

We held a special Mochi Pounding (Mochitsuki) Event and invited parent volunteers to join us. With their support, the children had the opportunity to experience traditional mochi pounding firsthand.
The children enjoyed watching the rice being pounded and even had a chance to participate themselves. It was a wonderful hands-on cultural experience for everyone.
Afterward, everyone tasted freshly made mochi with different flavors, including kinako (sweet soybean powder), soy sauce with nori, and anko (sweet red bean paste).
It was a joyful and memorable event for both the children and their families.
